Immersive firearms and tactical training
BattleVR Immersive Firearms and Tactical Training
Develop weapon handling, judgement, communication and team performance through configurable virtual and mixed-reality exercises with realistic synthetic weapons and instructor-led review.
Train the task, not just the technology
Configure the experience around the learning objective
BattleVR supports individual and collective training while giving instructors control of scenario progression, observation and debrief.
Firearms proficiency
Practise handling, aiming and engagement through tracked, platform-representative synthetic weapons.
Decision and judgement
Place technical skills inside scenarios where information, timing, people and consequences affect the response.
Team and tactical activity
Rehearse communication, movement and coordinated action in repeatable environments.

Realistic training hardware
Weapon handling and sensory feedback are central to the system
BattleVR combines immersive headsets, tetherless processing options, tracked synthetic weapons and configurable feedback. ArcheonXT weapon and recoil hardware can reproduce platform-representative handling across multiple form factors.
Haptic options can add sensory cues where they support the training objective. Hardware selection is agreed around the exercise, user population, facilities and safety case.
- Tracked primary and secondary weapon options
- Configurable electric, gas or sensored recoil approaches
- Virtual or mixed-reality headset configurations
- Portable and fixed-install deployment options
- Instructor observation and after-action review
Guided weapon-handling lessons
Build weapon-handling skills through structured VR instruction
BattleVR-SWT (Synthetic Weapons Trainer) is a guided lesson module for teaching and rehearsing weapon-handling procedures in virtual reality.
Instructors can use step-by-step lessons and repeatable drills to introduce procedures in a controlled environment before learners progress into wider BattleVR range and scenario activity.
- Guided, step-by-step weapon-handling lessons
- Repeatable procedural drills
- Controlled practice before more complex scenarios
- Designed to support instructor-led teaching

Operational workflow
A repeatable instructor-led training cycle
1. Define
Set the training objective, standards and assessment criteria.
2. Configure
Select environment, actors, events, equipment and scenario variation.
3. Deliver
Control progression, observe decisions and introduce authorised changes.
4. Review
Reconstruct activity, discuss performance and set the next training action.
PRODUCT INTERFACE
See the instructor and trainee experience
BattleVR gives instructors a live view of range activity, trainee performance and scenario progression. These product screenshots show how a session can move from configuration and observation to scoring and tactical review.

Deployment and integration
Build the system around users, facilities and existing training
BattleVR can be configured as a portable capability or fixed installation. The required tracked area, participant numbers, hardware, compute and instructor positions are established during implementation planning.
Integration requirements can include VBS4, HAWK, metaCAN and other approved synthetic-training components. Each interface is scoped against the customer’s data, network and assurance constraints.
